Segment Performance
Rallis India operates through three primary business segments. The Crop Care business posted revenue of ₹697 crore, registering a 7% year-on-year (y-o-y) growth. Within this segment, the B2C division saw robust 19% growth, partially offset by a 19% decline in the B2B segment. The Soil & Plant Health (SPH) segment delivered a 10% y-o-y increase, supported by focused portfolio management, prudent pricing actions, and continued contributions from biostimulants, biofertilizers, and organic products. The Seeds business reported revenue of ₹325 crore, a 6% y-o-y gain, driven by strategic product placements and pre-season initiatives.
Product Launches
During the quarter, Rallis India strengthened its product portfolio with several new introductions. In the Crop Care segment, the company launched three new products:
- Balwan (Herbicide)
- Prodim Ultra (Herbicide)
- Kengen (Insecticide)
Strategic product placements, targeted field programs, and focused liquidation initiatives further supported business performance.
In the Seeds business, the company launched nine new products across cotton, paddy, and millet crops, including:
- Two new cotton hybrids for North India
- A Herbicide Tolerant Direct Seed Rice product under the Dhaanya brand
Additionally, the SPH segment commercially launched Aquafert for ginger and turmeric, further strengthening its portfolio.
