Fleet Expansion and Capabilities
The new vessels, each with a deadweight tonnage (dwt) of 62,000, are designed to serve both bulk and breakbulk trades. They combine the cargo-carrying capacity of a supramax bulker with advanced heavy-lift capabilities. Each ship will be equipped with four deck cranes, offering a combined lifting capacity of up to 300 tonnes, suitable for oversized cargoes like wind turbine components and industrial modules.

This order is a continuation of Fujian Shipping's strategy to modernize its fleet. In September 2024, the company ordered four 82,000 dwt kamsarmax bulk carriers, and in November 2023, two 63,500 dwt ultramaxes.
