India Partners with France at VivaTech 2026 to Lead in AI Innovation

India's strategic participation at VivaTech 2026 as the Official AI Partner Country underscores its ambition to lead in AI and digital innovation on a global scale. This collaboration with France is a significant step in promoting technology exports and attracting investments.

India at VivaTech 2026

Led by the India Trade Promotion Organisation (ITPO), India's presence at VivaTech will be marked by the largest national pavilion. The theme "Tech For Humanity" will guide India's showcase, emphasizing technology's role in empowering citizens and solving challenges at scale.

  • Government and Industry Collaboration: The pavilion will feature participation from government leaders, policymakers, and industry innovators, including Minister of Commerce and Industry Piyush Goyal.
  • Innovation Ecosystem: India's vibrant innovation ecosystem will be represented by unicorns and high-growth startups across sectors like AI, Aerospace, DefenceTech, SpaceTech, HealthTech, DeepTech, SaaS, ClimateTech, Mobility, Robotics, and Cybersecurity.

Strategic Cooperation with France

India's participation aligns with the India-France Year of Innovation 2026, aiming to deepen cooperation in innovation, entrepreneurship, and advanced technologies. This partnership is expected to drive sustainable growth and shared prosperity.

"India's participation will foster global partnerships, attract investments, and promote technology exports," according to sources familiar with VivaTech.

Governmental Support

The involvement of the DPIIT, Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), and the Ministry of Education highlights India's whole-of-government approach to digital transformation and emerging technologies.

Symbol of Innovation

The India Pavilion logo, featuring a Tree of Life integrated with a digital circuit design, symbolizes the convergence of India's cultural diversity and technological ambition. This reflects India's commitment to building a future for 1.4 billion people and the planet.
