Höegh Autoliners extends Asian carmaker contract in $300m deal to boost freight capacity
Höegh Autoliners has extended a contract with a major Asian carmaker, expected to add about $300m in revenue through December 2029. The deal includes higher committed volumes, updated commercial terms, and adds Xiaomo port in southern China to its service network. The extension reflects strong demand for long-term car carrier contracts amid tight fleet supply, following similar moves by rival Wallenius Wilhelmsen.
