Bruton fixes second VLCC at $105,700 per day in 12-15 month charter

Tor Olav Trøim-backed Bruton has fixed its second VLCC newbuilding, the 300,000 dwt Mount Horizon, at a net rate of $105,700 per day for 12 to 15 months. The rate tops the $95,000 per day first nine months secured for its first VLCC, Mount Vision, giving the pair an average of about $101,000 per day, according to Splash247.
