India Lifts Emergency Natural Gas Curbs After Strait of Hormuz LNG Shipments Resume
The Indian Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas has withdrawn emergency provisions under the Natural Gas (Supply Regulation) Order, 2026, which had allowed prioritised allocation of domestic gas and imported LNG. Their removal follows a ceasefire in the West Asia conflict that has restored LNG flows through the strategic waterway.
