Food Processing Industries Minister Chirag Paswan announced that over 2 lakh micro enterprises have received credit-linked subsidy under the PMFME scheme since 2020, with a combined investment of ₹20,300 crore and nearly 11 lakh jobs created. The scheme, extended till September 2026, is being considered for a 2.0 version to attract more investments.
