Flipkart Greenlights Second ESOP Liquidity Event Allowing Up to 5% Cash-Out of Vested Options
Flipkart's board has approved a second employee stock ownership plan (ESOP) liquidity event, allowing eligible employees to liquidate up to 5% of their outstanding options vested over the past three years at Rs 713.4 per option. The event, estimated at $25 million, is part of a $50 million employee stock buyback plan launched in July last year, which has benefited over 7,000 employees. Payouts are scheduled for August.
