Modec has secured a contract to provide a SOFEC internal turret mooring system for the Coral Norte FLNG project offshore Mozambique. Developed by Eni and its partners, the project achieved FID in October 2025 and hull launch in January 2026, with first LNG expected in 2028. The system is critical for safe operations in the Rovuma Basin.
