Coriander Prices Surge Past Rs 200 per kg as Heavy Rains Disrupt Supplies from Nashik
Fresh coriander prices have jumped above Rs 200 per kg after heavy rainfall and flooding in and around Nashik damaged standing crops and disrupted transport to northern India. At Delhi's Azadpur mandi, wholesale prices climbed to Rs 175 per kg, while retail rates hit Rs 220-230 per kg, according to traders. Supplies from alternate centres like Bengaluru and Latur also fell due to delayed rain, tightening availability of premium-quality coriander.
