Two Private Trucking Firms Simultaneously Ask FMCSA for Five-Year HOS Exemptions
Two private companies—Lone Star Haz Mat of Texas and Mainline Services LLC of Kansas City—applied to the FMCSA for five-year exemptions from Hours of Service rules. Legislation Targets 'Loophole' on Altering HOS Records by Foreign Dispatchers
Two Republican House members introduced the GHOSTRUCK Act to close a loophole that allows foreign-based dispatchers to tamper with Electronic Logging Device (ELD) records used to track truck drivers' hours of service.
