Ladakh Administration Approves PLI Scheme and Revolving Fund to Boost Pashmina Production

The Union Territory of Ladakh has approved a production-linked incentive (PLI) scheme and an ₹8 crore revolving fund to strengthen the Pashmina industry. The measures include a 25% incentive for herders, upfront payments, and targets to double the goat population to 4 lakh and raise average yield from 200g to 350g per goat.
