NITI Index: Gujarat, Maharashtra Lead First Investment Friendliness Rankings

India's services exports narrow gap with goods trade as overall trade grows 5.4% in Q4FY26: NITI Aayog
According to a NITI Aayog report, India's total trade grew 5.4% in Q4FY26 to $1.84 trillion. Services exports reached $421 billion in FY2026, narrowing the gap with merchandise exports of $442 billion. The services surplus rose from $47.9 billion in Q1 to $60.4 billion in Q4, offsetting the merchandise trade deficit. Pharmaceutical exports stood at $25.8 billion in 2025, with formulated drugs increasing global market share.
