Teamgroup Launches 28GB/s PCIe 6.0 SSD, But Consumer PCs Can't Use It Yet
Teamgroup announced the T-CREATE MASTER Ai I6E E1.S SSD at Computex 2026, achieving 28GB/s sequential reads via PCIe 6.0. However, the drive uses an E1.S form factor and requires PCIe 6.0 support absent from current consumer motherboards, limiting it to enterprise and hyperscaler deployments. The company also introduced 64GB RDIMM modules and secured patents for a One Click Data Destruction mechanism.
