Performance Shipping Lifts Aframax Earnings with Two-Year AET Charter Extension at Higher Rates

Performance Shipping has extended the charter of its aframax Blue Moon with AET for two years at an average rate of $40,500 per day, up from $28,000. The deal will generate about $29m in gross revenue and boosts the company's contracted revenue backlog to over $530m.

Performance Shipping Locks in $39M Aramco Charter for Aframax Briolette

Performance Shipping has extended the charter of its 2011-built aframax Briolette to Aramco Trading for 35 months at $37,700 per day, generating about $39 million in gross revenue. The deal is the fourth consecutive contract between the companies for the vessel and pushes Performance's revenue backlog above $500 million as of mid-2026.
