India Post's Gujarat Pilot Helps 5 FPOs Deliver 40,000 Items, Doubles Business

India Post's Gujarat pilot has enabled five farmer producer organisations to deliver over 40,000 items in eight months, using post office storage and the ONDC-linked MyStore App. One FPO, Ranmal FPC, shipped 30,000 items and saw turnover reach ₹4 crore by July, with the pilot now extended to seven Gujarat cities.

Harrisons Malayalam Pilots Drone-Based Green Leaf Transport at Lockhart Estate Near Munnar

Harrisons Malayalam Limited (HML) has successfully trialled a payload drone for transporting freshly harvested green leaf from tea fields at its Lockhart Estate, in collaboration with drone technology partner Tropoworks. The initiative aims to improve field logistics, enhance productivity, reduce manual handling, and ensure faster movement of green leaf to the factory. HML plans to be among the first tea plantation companies to deploy payload drones for routine transport.
