Logistics MSC Pays $1.4bn for 49% Stake in Adani's Vizhinjam Port, Deepens India Bet
Mediterranean Shipping Company (MSC) is acquiring a 49% stake in Adani Ports' Vizhinjam transhipment terminal for $1.4bn through its terminal arm Terminal Investment Limited (TiL). The deal values the Kerala port at approximately $2.85bn and represents the largest foreign private investment in Indian port infrastructure. Adani will retain a controlling 51% stake. The investment will fund expansion of the terminal's capacity from 1.6m TEU to 5.7m TEU by end of 2028.
Logistics CMA CGM and Asyad Group Sign $400m Multipurpose Terminal Deal in Oman's Sohar Port
Oman's Asyad Group and French liner CMA CGM have signed a framework agreement to develop and operate a new multipurpose logistics terminal in Sohar, with an expected investment of around $400m. The project aims to strengthen Oman's position in regional and international trade corridors, adding integrated logistics and cargo handling capacity.

PSA Intermodal Italy and Logtainer have signed a final agreement to manage and develop the intermodal terminal at Interporto Padova, creating a new operating company, PSA Padova. The move strengthens Padua’s role as a key inland gateway and expands PSA’s foothold in Italy’s intermodal market, complementing its port terminals at Genoa and Venice.
