Centre Approves Copra and Totapuri Mango Procurement for Tamil Nadu Farmers at MSP

The Indian government approved the procurement of 87,226 tonnes of copra and 96,879 tonnes of Totapuri mangoes in Tamil Nadu under the Price Support Scheme and Market Intervention Scheme respectively. Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan sanctioned the measures to protect farmers from distress sales.
