Reverse Oil Flow: India Supplies Gasoline to Russia as War Cripples Refineries
India has supplied gasoline to Russia for the first time, with Nayara Energy dispatching 60,000 metric tons of gasoline. The reverse flow follows Ukrainian drone attacks that have crippled over 40% of Russia's refining capacity, forcing Moscow to import gasoline even as it remains a major crude exporter. Oil minister Hardeep Singh Puri clarified that Indian companies are not directly selling to Russia; the gasoline was purchased from international traders.
