HD Hyundai Launches First Ship from Revived Subic Shipyard in the Philippines

HD Hyundai Heavy Industries Philippines has launched the Orion Jade, the first vessel built at its revived Subic shipyard, marking the start of full-scale operations. The 250-metre bulker is the first of a four-ship order. The project has created 4,000 jobs, expected to double, and reflects Korean shipbuilding expansion beyond South Korea.
