Iconic Theyagaraja Theatre in Tiruvanmiyur to Make Way for ₹500-Crore Commercial Project
The nearly one-acre Theyagaraja Theatre property in Tiruvanmiyur, Chennai, will be redeveloped into a ₹500-crore mixed-use commercial project including retail, office and a multiplex. BBCL, part of Vummidi Enterprises, signed a joint development agreement with the theatre-owning Theyagaraja family, who will continue to operate the cinema after redevelopment.
