Varamar Enters Ship Ownership with Four-Vessel Acquisition, Marks Strategic Shift

Antwerp-based multipurpose and breakbulk operator Varamar has acquired four 5,200 dwt vessels, marking its first entry into ship ownership. The vessels will be integrated into its commercial network by early 2027, giving the company greater flexibility and reducing reliance on the volatile charter market.
