Logistics JUB Pacific Diversifies Fleet with AHTS Acquisition for Offshore Expansion
JUB Pacific, a Singapore-based offshore marine solutions provider specializing in self-elevating liftboats, has acquired the anchor handling tug and supply vessel (AHTS) Evay. The 2010-built, DP2 vessel with 120-tonne bollard pull was formerly owned by Aussie Offshore Services. The acquisition marks JUB Pacific's first step into offshore supply vessels and already has a contract with a major oil company in South-East Asia, according to the company.
Seacon Shipping Acquires Two Chemical Tanker Newbuilds for $39.2 Million
Seacon Shipping, through its Singapore subsidiary, has agreed to buy two 2026-built chemical/oil tanker newbuilds from Oriental Prime Shipping for $39.2 million. The vessels, Golden Gerbera and Golden Osmanthus, cost $19.6 million each and will be funded via internal resources and external financing. The acquisition supports Seacon's strategy to phase out older vessels and expand its controlled fleet.

Oslo-listed tonnage provider MPC Container Ships (MPCC) has agreed to buy four 7,000 TEU containerships for $340 million, marking a step up in vessel size for the company. The 2023- and 2024-built ships will each have a three-year fixed-rate charter to a top-five liner, generating $180 million in revenue. The deal is financed partly via a new $375 million loan facility.

Cyprus-based Castor Maritime has agreed to purchase a 2023-built eco kamsarmax bulker for $37.5m, according to Splash247. The unnamed vessel will become the youngest in the fleet, which will grow to 10 ships. The deal underscores Castor's ongoing fleet modernization and diversification, following earlier acquisitions and a stake in asset manager MPC Münchmeyer Petersen Capital.
Logistics Keyfield Expands Offshore Fleet with New AHTS Vessel
Keyfield International has acquired a 2014-built AHTS vessel for $7.35 million to expand its offshore fleet. The vessel, to be renamed Keyfield Joyful, will undergo upgrades and is expected to be deployed in late 2026.
