NHTSA Investigates Fatal Tesla Crash Involving Automated Driving in Texas
The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) has launched a Special Crash Investigation into a fatal Tesla crash on 19 June in Texas. The driver, who was not intoxicated, told police the car was using an automated driving assistance system when it drove into a home, killing a woman. Tesla has not commented.
