Realty firm Aurum PropTech Ltd on Monday reported a consolidated net profit of ₹45.18 crore for the quarter ended June, primarily driven by gains from the sale of two commercial buildings in Navi Mumbai, according to a regulatory filing. The company had posted a net loss of ₹10.02 crore in the year-ago period.

Total income rose to ₹119.01 crore in the April-June quarter of 2026-27 from ₹73.88 crore in the corresponding period of the preceding year. For the full preceding fiscal 2025-26, the Mumbai-based company posted a net profit of ₹0.72 crore and total income of ₹412.43 crore.

Housing.com Acquisition
On July 16, Aurum PropTech announced the acquisition of real estate classified platform Housing.com for ₹458 crore in an all-equity share swap transaction as part of its expansion strategy. Onkar Shetyte, Executive Director of Aurum PropTech, described the move as a transformative milestone that brings India's leading real estate discovery platform into its ecosystem and forges a strategic alignment with Australia's REA Group.
"The combination brings Housing.com's trusted marketplace with over 58 million average monthly visits and 12 million monthly active users together with Aurum's integrated transaction ecosystem, laying the foundation for India's first AI-native real estate operating system," Shetye said.
Executive Commentary
Commenting on the quarter, Shetye said: "Q1 FY27 marks a defining start to the year for Aurum PropTech. We delivered our third consecutive profitable quarter, demonstrating that disciplined execution, improving unit economics and capital-efficient growth can coexist."
He added that the company's data analytics, transaction management, and sales automation businesses delivered profitable AI-led growth, while its co-living and family rental platforms achieved EBITDA profitability through stronger operational efficiency and greater scale.
Next Milestone
The company's strategic focus remains on integrating Housing.com and expanding its AI-native operating system, with investors watching for further margin improvements and revenue synergies in upcoming quarters.
