Ranking of most valued companies
Despite the weekly movements, Reliance Industries retained its spot as the most valued firm, followed by Bharti Airtel, HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, State Bank of India, TCS, Bajaj Finance, Larsen & Toubro, LIC and Hindustan Unilever, according to Business Today.
The weekly data shows the top-10 group's aggregate valuation remained under pressure from losses in six constituents, even as SBI's Rs 63,922.03 crore gain and Reliance's Rs 32,816.4 crore gain provided the largest offsets. For investors tracking India's benchmark-heavy large-cap names, the week's movement in the BSE Sensex of 404.53 points and the NSE Nifty's 187.05-point advance set the broad market tone while stock-specific flows drove divergence within the top-10 list.
