Godrej Agrovet Limited has inaugurated India’s first Integrated Oil Palm Complex in Khammam, Telangana, with a total investment of ₹300 crore, according to a company announcement. The integrated complex includes a seed garden established in partnership with leading global companies, bringing their expertise in oil palm genetics to India. An R&D centre at the complex supports the company’s efforts to develop hybrid planting material that is tolerant of, and optimised for, Telangana’s local climatic conditions. The mill has commenced operations at a capacity of 30 tonnes per hour and is designed for expansion to 60 tonnes per hour, allowing the company to scale up processing capacity as demand grows.

Speaking at the inauguration, Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka called the complex "a landmark for Telangana’s oil palm mission" and for the state’s vision of becoming a leading edible oil producer.
