Logistics JUB Pacific Diversifies Fleet with AHTS Acquisition for Offshore Expansion
JUB Pacific, a Singapore-based offshore marine solutions provider specializing in self-elevating liftboats, has acquired the anchor handling tug and supply vessel (AHTS) Evay. The 2010-built, DP2 vessel with 120-tonne bollard pull was formerly owned by Aussie Offshore Services. The acquisition marks JUB Pacific's first step into offshore supply vessels and already has a contract with a major oil company in South-East Asia, according to the company.
Logistics Hayfin Sells 11-Vessel AHTS Fleet to New Maritime Investment-Backed Company
Hayfin Capital Management has agreed to sell an 11-vessel AHTS fleet managed by United Offshore Support to a newly established company backed by leading maritime investors. Two vessels have already been transferred, with the remainder to follow. Separately, Capital Offshore has completed its acquisition of 50% of UOS from Hayfin, forming UOS Capital.
Logistics GE Offshore Marine Services Secures Five-Year AHTS Charter with Trident Energy in Equatorial Guinea
UK oil and gas operator Trident Energy has awarded GE Offshore Marine Services a five-year charter for the anchor-handling tug and supply (AHTS) vessel Red Tiger to support operations offshore Bata, Equatorial Guinea. The 2008-built, 120-tonne diesel-electric vessel also features a newly installed 50-tonne crane and will support ROV operations with DeepOcean. The vessel has departed Vigo, Spain, and is scheduled to arrive in Bata on June 27.
