WHO-Led PARTNERS Trial Begins Patient Enrolment for Bundibugyo Virus Disease Treatments
The PARTNERS clinical trial, sponsored by WHO, has opened patient enrolment in the Democratic Republic of the Congo to evaluate antiviral therapies MBP134 and remdesivir for Bundibugyo virus disease (BVD). The trial aims to identify the first effective treatments for BVD, which has affected over 1,400 people in the current outbreak.
