Senate panel advances bill tying USPS executive bonuses to 95% mail on-time target
A Senate committee approved a bipartisan bill that would bar USPS executives from bonuses until on-time mail delivery reaches 95%. The Postal Service missed the target in all eight categories in FY2025, with single-piece First-Class mail at 72.7%. Postmaster General David Steiner opposes the measure.
