Erasmus Shipinvest Stacks Up Boxship Orders with Fresh Feeder Deal at Huangpu Wenchong
Athens-based Erasmus Shipinvest has signed a contract with CSSC Huangpu Wenchong Shipbuilding for two firm 1,900 teu feeder containerships, with options for two more. The order is the third newbuilding deal between Erasmus and the yard this year, adding to the 30 vessels already delivered and 44 on order from the Swan feeder design series. Financial terms and delivery dates have not been disclosed.

Erasmus Shipinvest Firms Up All Eight Kamsarmax Newbuilds at Jiangsu New Hantong Yard
Athens-based Erasmus Shipinvest Group has firmed up all eight kamsarmax bulk carrier newbuilds at China's Jiangsu New Hantong Ship Heavy Industry, exercising options on the original four-vessel order. The total investment is nearly $300 million, with deliveries expected to begin in 2028, adding 656,000 dwt of dry bulk capacity.
