OOIDA Urges House to Vote on Dalilah’s Law After Fatal Pennsylvania Crash Involving Non-Domiciled CDL
The Owner-Operator Independent Drivers Association (OOIDA) is urging House Speaker Mike Johnson to bring Dalilah’s Law to a vote after the July 1 death of Pennsylvania State Trooper Michael Pahira Jr., who was struck by a truck driver with a non-domiciled CDL. The bill, which cleared the House Transportation Committee in March, would permanently codify U.S. DOT restrictions on non-domiciled commercial driver's licenses, closing safety loopholes OOIDA says allow unqualified drivers on the road.
