Cabinet Approves Four Railway Multitracking Projects Worth Rs 9,450 Crore Across Four Indian States
Union Cabinet approved four railway multitracking projects worth Rs 9,450 crore across West Bengal, Odisha, Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu, adding 410 km of track and 76 million tonnes of annual freight capacity by 2030-31, according to Business-Today. The Cabinet also cleared an NH-22 four-laning project in Bihar worth Rs 3,590.73 crore. The projects target coal, iron ore, cement, containers and automobile freight.
