Finance NABARD and NaBFID sign MoU to fund rural infrastructure projects
India's NABARD and NaBFID have signed an MoU to jointly finance rural infrastructure projects, combining NABARD's rural expertise with NaBFID's infrastructure financing capabilities. The pact covers joint financing, advisory services, debt syndication and capacity building, targeting areas such as cold-chain, irrigation and rural roads.
Finance NABARD names winners of National Climate Stack Innovation Challenge
NABARD, with support from the Gates Foundation and Dalberg Advisors, announced the winners of the National Climate Stack Innovation Challenge to advance DiCRA as Digital Public Infrastructure. SatSure Analytics took first prize, EXPERIQS second and VARSAPRADAYA third, selected from over 150 applications. The winning tools target rural credit assessment, insurance and financial-sector portfolio analysis.

The National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD) has facilitated Geographical Indication (GI) registration for 28 new products including traditional handicrafts, handloom textiles, and bamboo crafts. This brings NABARD's total GI-supported products to 176, connecting over 13,000 artisans to higher-value markets and generating more than 50,000 direct jobs.
