Technology Guinness World Record Smashed by QR Code Pixel Just 50nm – Smaller Than COVID-19 Virus
Researchers at Monash University and the Czech Academy of Sciences have created a QR code measuring just 50 by 50 nm², each pixel made of a single silver atom. The microscopic code is still scannable by mobile phone and directs to an outreach website. They have applied for a Guinness World Record, awaiting confirmation.
