Logistics India Launches AI-Powered Smart Warehousing for 216 CWC Grain Storage Warehouses
Union Food Minister Pralhad Joshi on June 18 launched a smart warehousing system for 216 Central Warehousing Corporation grain storage warehouses, integrating AI, IoT, and automation for real-time monitoring. The system aims to enhance transparency, reduce manual intervention, and prevent foodgrain diversion under the Public Distribution System (PDS). The Food Corporation of India plans to implement similar technology in 150 warehouses by October.
Virtual Sensing with Neural Operators Enables Real-Time Monitoring of Inaccessible Locations
Researchers introduce MIMONet, an operator-based virtual sensing framework that maps sparse boundary measurements to internal fields in inaccessible regions, achieving below 5% relative errors and sub-millisecond inference on data-center accelerators. The method is validated on nuclear-grade thermal-fluid systems including heat exchangers and pressurized water reactor subchannels, remaining stable under 50% sensor noise.
