FPIs return to India: Rs 20,200 crore injected into equities after four months of selling

Foreign portfolio investors returned to Indian equities in July with net buying of Rs 20,200 crore, reversing four months of outflows, according to Business Today. Despite the rebound, FPIs remain net sellers for 2026 with Rs 2.54 lakh crore in total withdrawals. Debt market inflows also continued, with Rs 29,212 crore invested through the general route.
