Greek interests sell ultramax bulker to Bangladesh's Meghna Group for $36.5m, pocketing $6.7m profit

Greek shipping interests have sold the 63,547 dwt ultramax bulker WF Artemis to Bangladesh's Meghna Group for $36.5m, netting a $6.7m profit. The vessel, built in 2020 by Iwagi Zosen, was acquired for $29.8m a year ago. The deal highlights strong demand in the ultramax secondhand market and Meghna's ongoing fleet expansion to 15 ships.

Diana Shipping Secures Improved Kamsarmax Charter at $16,850 per Day for Medusa Bulker

Diana Shipping has fixed its kamsarmax bulker Medusa to Aquavita International at a gross rate of $16,850 per day, a 29.6% increase over its previous charter with Cargill. The deal runs from July 10 to at least October 5, 2027, and builds on Diana's improving forward cover.
