The order, if confirmed, would expand Seanergy's dry bulk newbuilding programme from seven to eight vessels, with the broader fleet renewal slate reaching nine ships. Seanergy has already secured charters for three 2027-dated capesizes at floor rates averaging about $23,100 per day.

South Korea's CK Line has signed a contract with Huangpu Wenchong Shipbuilding for up to four 6,400 teu containerships, marking the largest vessels ever ordered by the carrier. The newbuilds, with around 1,150 reefer plugs each, are designed by CSSC's 708 Research Institute and will significantly expand CK Line's capacity on regional trades linking Korea with China, Japan, Southeast Asia and Russia.
