Seven companies are scheduled to launch initial public offerings (IPOs) between August 17 and August 21, with the group seeking to raise more than Rs 6,400 crore collectively, according to a Business Today report.
The fresh batch follows five IPOs launched earlier this week and three companies that entered the market earlier this month. With the seven upcoming offerings, the number of companies launching IPOs in 2026 is expected to reach 55, industry data cited by the report showed.

Day-by-Day Offerings
Shankesh Jewellers and Sunshine Pictures will open their issues on August 18. Shankesh Jewellers will raise Rs 367 crore with a price band of Rs 88-93 per share; its IPO comprises a fresh issue of up to 2.95 crore equity shares and an OFS of up to 1 crore equity shares.
Sunshine Pictures has fixed its price band at Rs 342-360 for a Rs 282-crore issue, consisting of a fresh issue of 48 lakh equity shares and an OFS of 30.37 lakh equity shares, taking the total offer size to 78.37 lakh shares. Promoters Vipul Amrutlal Shah and Shefali Vipul Shah will sell shares through the OFS, according to the report.
Gaja Alternative Asset Management, which operates under the Gaja Capital brand, will open its Rs 550-crore IPO on August 19 with a price band of Rs 152-160 per share. The issue comprises a fresh issue of up to Rs 450 crore and an OFS of up to Rs 100 crore.
Tempsens Instruments will follow on August 20 with a fresh issue of Rs 95 crore and an OFS of 1.85 crore shares. Its price band will be disclosed on Monday.
The week's IPO calendar closes with Augmont Enterprises on August 21. The integrated gold and silver platform will raise Rs 825 crore through a Rs 620-crore fresh issue and an OFS of Rs 205 crore. Its price band will be announced on Tuesday.
Use of Proceeds and Capital Implications
According to the report, proceeds from the fresh issues are expected to be used largely for business expansion, capital expenditure, debt repayment and other corporate purposes, while money raised through the OFS will accrue to the selling shareholders. Horizon Industrial Parks' IPO will specifically fund debt repayment, a direct application of fresh equity to reduce borrowings.
For CFOs and treasury directors monitoring the Indian primary market, the range of issues across asset management, jewellery, films and industrial infrastructure indicates broad-based equity capital formation across sectors. The OFS components — at Lalithaa Jewellery Mart, Shankesh Jewellers, Sunshine Pictures, Gaja Alternative Asset Management and Augmont Enterprises — provide a liquidity event for existing promoters and shareholders.
Pipeline Stays Active
The primary market pipeline remains active after these seven offerings. Skyways Air Services, an air freight forwarding and logistics company, is scheduled to launch its Rs 583-crore issue on August 24, according to the report.
With the Indian IPO market on track to host 55 companies in 2026, based on industry data cited in the report, the week's calendar is part of a broader wave of listings. For finance executives, the pricing and timing of these issues offer a benchmark for equity market sentiment and the depth of domestic investor demand.
