Trade US anti-dumping and countervailing duties hit Indian paprika exports
The US Department of Commerce has imposed anti-dumping and countervailing duties on Indian oleoresin paprika imports, following a petition by a US manufacturer. Countervailing duties of 18.56%-25.41% apply from February 2026, while anti-dumping duties of 3.33%-4.66% are retrospective from June 2026. India exports $54.6M-$68M annually of the extract, used in food, cosmetics and spices.

Trade Indian Goods Exports Estimated to Grow 15% in May, Driven by Petroleum and Other Sectors
Indian goods exports are estimated to have grown 15% in May 2026, driven by high global oil prices boosting the crude refining industry, according to a government official. Excluding petroleum, exports rose 11%. The official also stated that the first phase of the India-US bilateral trade agreement can be finalised after the US concludes Section 301 investigations, which will end temporary 10% tariffs on July 24.
