Commodities Allseas Wins Canadian LNG Pipeline Installation Deal for Ksi Lisims Project
Swiss marine contractor Allseas has been awarded a contract by Western LNG to install the subsea section of the Prince Rupert Gas Transmission pipeline in British Columbia. The ~50 km pipeline will connect Canadian natural gas to the planned Ksi Lisims LNG export facility on Pearse Island, with offshore installation set for 2029 using vessels Solitaire and Sandpiper.

Belgian marine contractor DEME has been awarded a substantial contract for the Zeevonk offshore wind project in the Netherlands, covering transport and installation of 69 monopile foundations. The contract, valued between €150 million and €300 million, involves marshalling services, scour protection, and use of specialized vessels including the Orion. Offshore construction is scheduled to start in 2028, subject to final investment decision.
Commodities Ocean Installer Bags One of Its Largest-Ever Contracts from Vår Energi for Balder Next New Wells Project
Ocean Installer, a Moreld subsidiary, has been awarded a fast-track EPCI contract by Vår Energi for the Balder Next New Wells project, supporting continued development of the Balder area. The contract, valued over NOK 2bn ($202.5m), is among the largest in Ocean Installer's history and is the third awarded under the strategic partnership established in June 2022.
Logistics DEME Secures Japanese Offshore Wind Installation Contract
Belgian marine contractor DEME has secured a contract for the Oga–Katagami–Akita offshore wind project in Japan. This marks the first deployment of 15MW-class turbines in Japan, with installation scheduled for 2027.
