KNOT Offshore Partners acquires modern shuttle tanker Hedda Knutsen from parent in $113m deal

KNOT Offshore Partners is acquiring the 2024-built shuttle tanker Hedda Knutsen from parent Knutsen NYK Offshore Tankers in a $113m deal, taking its fleet to 20 vessels. The DP2 suezmax is under firm charter to Petrobras in Brazil until 2034, with an option to 2039. The partnership also completed a $225m refinancing with DNB Bank to replace debt due in September.

Raleigh Parent Accell Starts Insolvency Proceedings, CEO Says All Options Exhausted

Accell, the Netherlands-based owner of Raleigh, has initiated insolvency proceedings after saying it exhausted all options and could not meet its financial obligations. The company reported £30m losses and 2024 redundancies. CEO Jonas Nilsson called the situation deeply sad and frustrating.
