More than 100 European lawmakers from 16 countries have signed an open letter demanding Danish shipyard Fayard stop repairing Arc7 ice-class LNG tankers that support Russia's Yamal LNG project. The pressure comes as the first vessel, Rudolf Samoylovich, arrived on June 30, and up to six ships may require maintenance before EU sanctions fully prohibit such services from January 1, 2027.
